We’re excited to announce a number of significant updates to recipes on SaladCloud. These pre-configured, ready-to-deploy applications are the fastest and easiest way to get up and running on SaladCloud, and they cover a wider range of applications than ever before.
What’s New in Recipes?
With this most recent update to recipes, we’ve introduced several big new things!
Partner and Community Recipes

Based on the success of our ongoing partnership with Sogni, we are opening up recipes and taking submissions from more partners, and the broader community. The Stage AI bravely went first and became our first partner to fully self-publish a recipe: their blazing fast optimized Flux.1-Schnell model, churning out up to 60 images per minute (and more than 10,000 images per dollar) on a single RTX 5090.
If you think you’ve got a great idea for the SaladCloud platform, we’re opening up the kitchen and inviting you to build and share recipes with all the other builders on our platform.
New Workload Types
We’ve had image generation and language model recipes for quite a while, but we’re excited to broaden our selection to include molecular dynamics simulations, model training, and a variety of on-chain projects. Look forward to more, both from us, and from you!
Improved Deployment Process

When you go to deploy a recipe, you’ll be greeted with an informative readme, explaining what the recipe is for, and how to configure it. This page includes a form to collect any required configuration.
Once deployed, your new container group includes a helpful readme, with links to documentation, and example requests.

Updated Ubuntu Recipe

This one may seem small, but our basic Ubuntu recipe is one of our most deployed, and people often use it to familiarize themselves with the SaladCloud platform. We’ve made some changes to it that should improve the experience significantly.
- Runs JupyterLab by default – JupyterLab provides a better, more feature-complete window into your SaladCloud instance than our integrated web terminal.
- VS Code server included – You can optionally provide a Devtunnel ID and token, and your instance will run a VS Code server you can access remotely, including through the browser.
- Ubuntu 24 – To help you get up and running faster, we’ve updated to a more recent version of Ubuntu, and bundled in some popular utilities like
gitandcurl, along with Python and Node.
