When the Render Network community approved RNP-023 earlier this year, Salad started on a three-milestone roadmap to bring our platform on chain as an exclusive Render subnet. Milestones 1 and 2 are live and in production!
Pay for SaladCloud with RENDER, shipped first.
Customers can now fund their SaladCloud accounts by depositing RENDER directly from the Billing & Usage section of the portal, with credits applied at the prevailing RENDER/USD exchange rate. The first customer payment in RENDER landed on May 28, and deposits have been flowing since.

RENDER rewards for Salad Chefs, went live yesterday.
The Chefs who power our network with their idle GPUs can now redeem their Salad Balance for RENDER tokens directly from the Salad storefront, delivered to their own Solana wallet. The very first redemption is already onchain — you can see it for yourself on the Solana explorer. That transparency is the whole point: real work, real rewards, verifiable by anyone.

We’re genuinely excited about what this partnership unlocks, for our customers, for our Chefs, and for the broader Render community…and we’re not slowing down. Work is already underway on Milestone 3: migrating Salad’s payment rails fully to RENDER, incorporating the burn-mint equilibrium model at the heart of the Render Network. It’s the largest piece of the integration, and we’ll be publishing a proposed architecture for community review soon.
Thank you to the Render Foundation and the Render community for the partnership and the vote of confidence. More soon!
